Anther busy week has come and gone.
Unbelievably, I still managed to sum it up in photos again! (I am thrilled!
And I’m certain my mom is too – probably the only person truly excited by this weekly blogging edition.)
So here we go, once again!
Friday we prepared for Saturday,
And Saturday began with a fun morning breakfast…
While my husband and I got ourselves ready to
head up to Ann Arbor for my husband’s early birthday gift:
Tickets to the Michigan/Illinois Homecoming Football Game.
It was a little wet and cold (<– understatement!) but so much fun.
Followed Sunday by soccer
where our oldest daughter and her soccer team
were thrilled to be the ball girls for a University of Toledo girls’ game.
Schools OUT… for my kids that is.
I still had to teach graphic design to my college students.
However, grandma kept the kids busy by “crafting”
a Labels for Eduction box for my middle son’s classroom.
Thank GOODNESS for iPhone Cameras!
Every semester (for the nearly 8 years we have attended music class)
Kindermusik has a “Photo Week” in which parents are encouraged
to bring cameras and capture their child’s fun day with music.
And every semester I forget my camera
and am saved by my iPhone!
There are 2 things I’d like to point out about this day and this photo:
1: The morning began by the birds collecting above our home in preparation
of flying south. I captured it on my camera because it was amazing!
2. Then the day really started. Ugh. However what I’d like you to
notice is that we are shopping midway down an isle at Target
which is separated by:
Halloween (left) and Christmas (right).
This truly helped to capture the moment (and my day) perfectly…
A comedy of errors ending with my husband’s iPhone cracking.
(I think he cracked it on purpose because he wanted the new iPhone 5)
Yet, we still managed to celebrate the day of his birthday with
a family dinner in the formal dinning room.
(Decorations, cake – the whole shebang!)
Plus, I had a conversation about my nose
(yes, I’m talking about that thing on my face in between both eyes)
AND the old sitcom “Bewitched.”
Check out this Thursday’s post at Mothers Centeral.
All I can say is age and motherhood can really change one’s perspective,
especially when it comes to beauty…
(While there click to watch the 1st 3 minutes of the Bewitched episode I linked to. Fun-ny!)
So there you have it! Our busy week wrapped up!
Leave a comment. Where did your busy week go? Are you ready for Christmas yet? (Target says you should be!)
