Well, THIS busy week started early… with Black Friday.
Yes, rarely do I brave Black Friday
BUT this year I had one item that I wanted
and – what the heck! – I figured
I get up at 5:45 am to work most days,
what’s 45 minutes earlier to shop?
I’ve never really been out on Black Friday morning.
Let me just tell you… It’s kind-of crazy…
After my morning shopping spree,
the rest of the weekend was spent decorating for Christmas.
And on Sunday we watched Frosty the Snowman as a family.
(OK, I lied. My oldest was down the basement watching the LAST episode ever of iCarly instead… darn tween!)
OK. So I skipped Monday again.
One of these days I am going to design a info-graphic on WHY
Mondays are just NOT meant for taking photos…
Until then, onward with Tuesday.
Toddler’s Music Class.
2 Phone Conferences.
(Homework at the Doctors Office)
Music Class for 1st Grader.
Need I say more?
I love testing out new places to work outside
of the home when a sitter is available.
This week I went downtown and enjoyed a great
breakfast (and lunch!), a little work and great conversation (oops!)
at a cute little coffee shop only minutes from my home.
A day that was supposed to be filled with work,
ended up being filled with friends
after an impromptu lunch date
and a dinner date planned eons ago.
All in All, a great Wednesday for ME.

SO MANY of my good friends are pregnant and having babies lately!
Three kids is definitely(!) enough for me,
but all these new babies have got me thinking a lot
about birth and motherhood – which led me to writing
this week’s Mothers Central post reflecting on my somewhat laughable
“birth plan” gone wrong as a 1st time mom-to-be titled:
So there you have it! The last “busy week” of November. December… Bring it … On? Ugh.
Leave a Comment: What filled your busy week? Did you go shopping on Black Friday?
