6:30 a.m. 5:30 a.m. any given day:
Get up. Brush Teeth. Get Dressed. Drink Coffee… relax…
Check e-mail. Check Facebook. Check Twitter. Check clock… sigh…
After a couple hours of work:
Wake up Oldest. Wake up Middle. Try VERY hard not to wake up baby… shhhhh!
Breakfast Served. Book bags packed. Car loaded…YEA!
(It’s the little accomplishments that make me smile the most sometimes!)
And it’s only…
I am on-the-go all the time.
Do you ever look back at your day and wonder how you fit it all in?
Have you ever wished for just ONE. MORE. HOUR all too yourself?
I have. I do. And that’s where this blog fits in.
I am a mom of three and a wife to one. And looking back at my life, even before I had my children, I have always been busy and on-the-go.
And do you know what? I think I like it that way?!
Life is never dull when you’re on-the-go.
Life is FULL of stories when you’re on-the-go!
So here’s what keeps me busy:
I am a trained graphic artist. I graduated from college with a focus in graphic design, communication, marketing and music.
Pre-mommyhood, I used to work in the busy, on-the-go world of advertising. LOVED IT! In hindsight, working 60-hours a week was great preparation for having kids.
Currently I am a staff member with the National Association of Mothers’ Centers, an adjunct graphic design instructor, a
freelance graphic designer recovering workaholic, writer wanna-be, taxi-cab driven’, food servin’ (not gourmet, but it gets done), round ‘em all up, not-so-perfect, momma extraordinaire.
(Yes, my kids unfortunately call me momma. Yes, I know you can spell momma as “mama” and “mamma.” Yes I chose momma and my husband thinks I’ve misspelled it. No, I am NOT going to change it!)
Oh yeah, and I also blog at Mothers Central.
So head on back to my home page and see what I’m writing about today!
